Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, July 10, 2004 at Claybar Funeral Home Chapel in Orange, with Deacon Eddie Blankenstein officiating. Burial will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens.
Visitation will be held from 5:00-8:00 p.m., with a Vigil at 6:00 p.m on Friday, July 9, 2004 at the funeral home.
Mrs. Bernard, a native of Center, TX, lived most of her life in Orange. She was the Garden Center Supervisor for K-Mart, a member of Master Gardeners and a faithful member of St. Mary's Catholic Church.
She is survived by her daughter, Kathy Fuqua and husband Harold of Vinton, LA; son, Michael Bernard and wife, Tina of Orange; four grandchildren, Jason Fuqua, Jennifer Bryant, Brant Bernard, Jax Bernard; and sister, Betty Ruth Vincent of Buna.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the charity of your choice in Linda's name.
