I am Allen C. Connel, 47 years old; born and raised in Orange, Texas. I have gained much history of Families in Orange. I am Adjutant for the "Walter P. Lane", Camp 1745, Sons of Confederate Veterans; originally "Walter P. Lane", Camp 639, United Confederate Veterans, formed in 1893 in orange. I have the original minute books 1911 thru 1917. Handwritten by the Confederate Veterans in Orange, many familiar names of Families here. Contact me, I have much to give some families of their history which has been lost. thanks. Allen C. Connel

Please limit your request to one name per request. Please put ORANGE COUNTY SEARCH in the subject line of your request to insure the message is not overlooked or accidentally deleted. In the first line of the message please put the name of the book from which you are requesting the search

COPYRIGHT: The USGenWeb Official Policy USGenWeb will not tolerate any copyright violations. Lookup requests should be limited to one name, or perhaps two if it is a married couple. Information given will be minimal, for example if it is a cemetery lookup, the information will be the name of the cemetery and the dates on the headstone. Please do not ask for "everybody with X surname" or an entire family group, or for hardcopies to be mailed; the volunteers have been asked not to comply with such requests. Our lookups will extend to searching the book to determine if the book would be helpful to you in your research. Should the book prove useful, we can provide the authors address and ordering information. The USGenWeb Project will endeavor to get a WRITTEN statement from each copyright holder which stipulates which books may be used for lookups.
